"Planting Hope" - The Hubbard House Project

Welcome to the Jacksonville First Coast chapter of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association's web page for "Planting Hope".

"Planting Hope" is the short film project that our chapter has agreed to produce for Hubbard House.  Hubbard House is a Non-Profit Organization that offers many different and wonderful services to the victims of abuse, the children of those victims and the abuser.

The purpose of this short film is to showcase these services in a dramatic way while demonstrating the cycle of support and services.

This film will be screened at the Hubbard House Annual Breakfast on October 7th, 2008.  It is also our intention to enter it into the Crystal Reels, and other film festivals.

If you or someone you know needs help, you can contact Hubbard House at: 904-354-3114 or (800) 500-1119.  To learn more about Hubbard House, or to volunteer or help, go to: www.hubbardhouse.org.

Updates:

We have completed principle shooting of "Planting Hope" and are currently in post production with the editing, musical score and graphic design.

The FMPTA-JFC and Hubbard House would like to take a moment to thank all of the members and local professionals who donated their time and services to the making of this film.  We got excellent performances from our cast and extras and this film is sure to be great.  To quote Diane Clark from Hubbard House, "This film will save lives".

Production Pictures:

Here are some production pictures taken during our filming.  I would like to thank Sam Rooks Jr. of Retina Photography for sending me some of his pictures.  Any picture with a *SRJ* at the end of the description was taken by him.  There are 41 pictures so if you have a slow connection give them time to load.  I will break them down by shoot day.
