Art Riccio I've been in broadcasting since 1963, started out in Perth, Western Australia in B&W television then, as the tech changed, moved into COLOR TV. I'm in the production side of the house producing and directing shows however, I still very much enjoy running camera whether in the studio or on location. Graduated from Grahm Jr Collage (Boston, MA) in 1970. Andy Kauffman (Taxi) and I were classmates. I directed his first TV show there. He was a year behind me but he went on to become famous and I got drafted for military service and joined the U.S. Navy as a broadcast journalist. I retired from the Navy in 1991 and joined the ranks of the Civil Service as a television production specialist and retired from that in 2004. During that time, I produced and directed the television shows for the Navy's Fourth of July "Freedom Festival" in Mayport, FL. Artists included, John Anderson, Pam Tilis, Faith Hill, Restless Heart, Aaron Tippin, Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart, just to name a few. Also produced and directed Jerry Clower's last full TV show "Jerry Joins The Navy". Currently, I'm "retired" but still do video free lance work (video camera) as needed. I am a member of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association and also serving on their Board of Directors for the Jacksonville First Coast Chapter. In addition, I'm also a home based travel agent that specializes in cruises and, of course, taking them, as often as possible. Email:
