Writer/Producer
Michael is proficient in all aspects of film and video production,
from concept through post-production, including but not limited to
producing live and pre-produced television programs, production of
documentary films, marketing, promotion and PR materials, branding
materials, EPK's (electronic press kit), VNR's (video new release)
and short form news documentaries. Additional expertise include
script writing, storyboarding, lighting, shooting and editing film
and/or video.
Mick currently works as the Executive Producer for Jacksonville
Jaguars Television, where he produces, writes and edits live and
pre-produced television programing for the NFL's Jacksonville
Jaguars.
The show produced are "Jaguars All Access", a weekly live television
show staring former NFL players with weekly current NFL players as
guests. An inside look at the team, players and organization. "The
Jaguars Pre-Game Show", a weekly live television show hosted by
former NFL players that takes a topical look at the team, its
current opponent and the league, and "The Jack Del Rio Show", a
weekly pre-produced television program for the NFL Network starring
Jaguars Head Coach Jack Del Rio.
He has worked in television over the years doing many jobs, from
Senior Writer/Producer, Promotions Department at First Coast News.
Promotion Manager for WTVR CBS6 Richmond, VA. and Director of Client
Relations/Creative Services, WXXA, Fox 23 Television, Albany, NY.
In the film industry, Mick has been an Independent Script
Writer/Editor where he worked with writers and production companies
in New York and Los Angeles as a writer and "script doctor”, and has
also performed various duties over the years, from Production
Assistant, to Script Coordinator, to Second Unit Assistant Director
for independent film companies.

Is Also Time For Chapter Nominations
October is also
when the chapter nominates members for chapter office and board.
The elections take place in November and the new officers and board
members take office in January. If you are interested in being
an officer or board member in the Jacksonville First Coast Chapter
of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association you will need
to meet the following requirements.

Be a
Professional, or Business Member in good standing for the 90
days prior to the election
-
Be
available to attend the chapter board meetings and general
membership meetings
-
Be
available to attend State Meetings as may be necessary
-
Be at the
October Chapter Meeting in Person to nominate yourself, or
accept a nomination made on your behalf.
It should be known
that none of the current officers or board members will be seeking
re-election and plan to leave their offices at the end of their
term. If you are interested in being an officer or board
member of the chapter in 2010 then it is imperative that you be at
the October Chapter Meeting.
