On December 13th the Jacksonville First Coast Chapter held it's 2nd Annual Holiday "Ring-A-Ding" party at the Boomtown Subterrenea Restaurant.  The theme was "Food, Fun and Filmmakers" and we had a great turnout.  Even the "Jolly Old Elf" himself put in an appearance.  Check the pictures and comments below, there are 39 of them, to see how much fun it was.  Mark your calendars now for the second Wednesday of December 2007 so you too can be a part of this annual festival.

FMPTA State President Scott duPont was in attendance.
IATSE President, Joe Humphries, and Orlando Chapter member,
Brewier Welch accompanied Scott.

First time attendee, Dana Lewis, brought her son's,
Ronald and Marcus, to the party.

Even Santa stopped by to spread Joy and
Happiness to all, at least that's what we thought.

JFC member, Amanda Davidson, showed her Holiday Spirit
with her "Pooh" cap.  No, that's not a bad target or bad tattoo, Amanda
recently kicked Cancer's Butt and was finishing up her radiation treatments that week.

Here members, Jamie Kolson and Carolyn Cobb
enjoy the party and the evening's entertainment.

Member, Jonathan Chambers, with our good friend Simone Alsafeer
from Simone Belly Dancing enjoying the party.

Members Jamie Kolson, Carolyn Cobb and Nick Serenati having a
wonderful time at the party.

Amanda and Jonathan having a Grand Ole Time.

JFC members Mark O'Brien and Lorraine Portman, Lorraine is
demonstrating how to walk like an Egyptian, I think?

The ever fabulous Rita Manyette!

FMPTA State President, Scott duPont, presents JFC President, Mac McDonald
with the FMPTA Chapter of The Year Trophy for 2006.

The Jacksonville First Coast Chapter won this award for our many
activities, events and innovative ideas.

Here Mac "Mugs" with the trophy!

Jonathan Chambers poses with Mac and the Chapter of the Year Trophy.

Part of our entertainment for the evening was Rita Manyette
singing "Be Good To Momma".

Mac is busted sitting on Santa's Lap!
We wonder what he was asking for?

Santa, it turns out, had apparently had one too many
as he gave out the worst presents in history.  Here he presents JFC
member, Charlie Beyer, with a "Tie Dye" shirt, or is it evidence from a
Homicide?

Here Bad Santa visits with first time attendees the Lewis Family

and presents Marcus Lewis with a Doll!  We hope they don't hold Santa's
bad behavior against us!

Apparently, Mac asked Santa for some "White Out"!  NOT!!
Bad Santa, Baad Santa!

Mac with his "White Out"!  Woo Hoo!
Don't use it on your computer screen Mac.

We had numerous prizes to give out at the party.  The big prize of the evening
was an Italian Dinner for Two, provided by Orlando chapter member Nia North.

Amanda helped Mac draw the winner of the Door Prize of the Dinner Basket

Marcus Lewis was the winner of the Dinner Basket.  In fact, the Lewis Family
cleaned up at the party, they won the Dinner Basket, two tickets to the Jacksonville
Jaguars Christmas Eve Game against New England, and of course the doll Santa gave Marcus.

The FMPTA Chapter of the Year Award was not the only awards given out
at the party.  Here Mac and chapter EVP, Nick Serenati, present chapter Secretary
Amy Copeland with an award for Excellent Service in her role.  Amy was also the
recipient of the FMPTA-JFC Member of the Year Award.

Bob Shellenberger and Nick Serenati with Bob's Chapter Service Award.

Here Mac and Nick recognize Jonathan Chambers and Lorraine Portman
for their dedication and service to the chapter.

Chapter President, Mac McDonald, presented "Special Awards" for the members.

Here Mac and Nick give a special award to JD Moores.

Charlie Beyer receiving his Special Award from Mac.

Amanda Davidson received her Special Award "For Kicking Cancer's Ass" from
chapter EVP Nick Serenati.

Amy, receiving yet another award, from Nick.
Amy has deserved every award and accolade she received this year.
Amy was invaluable to the chapter and the FMPTA as a whole all year long!

Bill Stewart, received a special award for taking the name of the FMPTA the farthest.
This year, Bill traveled Europe wearing his FMPTA Polo Shirt the whole time.

Carolyn Cobb receives her "Special" award from Nick.

Jamie Kolson receives her "Special" award from Nick.
Don't they make a cute couple???
