The Jacksonville First Coast Chapter
Proudly Presents:

"Planting Hope"

The Jacksonville First Coast chapter of the FMPTA was asked to film a short movie for Hubbard House, a local non-profit organization that helps women, men and children in the Jacksonville/First Coast area.

Hubbard House provides shelter and outreach services for domestic violence victims and their families. Since our beginning in 1976, we have expanded to provide free services not only for the immediate safety needs of abuse victims and their children, but also to educate, support, and promote community awareness about domestic violence and its far reaching effects in Duval and Baker counties. Hubbard House’s history is rich with stories of amazing volunteer and community support, all in an effort to promote safety for victims of domestic violence and their families.

FMPTA-JFC members; Keith Hutchison, Mark O'Brien, Art Riccio, Mac McDonald, Nick Serenati, Richard Levine, Amy Copeland, Kenny Logsdon, Sam Rooks Jr., Charlie Beyer, Claire Michel, Kate Lynch, Jerry Wisener and Bob Shellenberger along with many of the areas professional filmmakers donated their time and efforts to crewing the film.  Additionally, Cheryl Kaleda, Laura Morey, Suzanne Manns, Ellen Trent, Claire Michel, Troy Winn, Mike Hahn, Ellin Iselin, Kate Lynch, Bob Shellenberger, Cathy Currier and Kenny Logsdon all acted in it.

Come out and join us on Tuesday, October 14th, at 6:30pm to see the movie.

We will also have discussion on the progress of our chapter short film "The Cult" as well as be holding nominations for Officers and Board Members for the 2009 year.
