The Jacksonville
First Coast Chapter
Proudly Presents:
Digital Stop Action Animation
The Jacksonville First
Coast Chapter of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association is
proud to have Filmmaker Corey Kolb and his crew of Animators as our
guest speaker for August. Corey is an Award winning filmmaker and
specializes in shooting Claymation films.
Come on down and learn how
to do "Stop Action" photography using today's digital cameras.

Corey Kolb
Corey Kolb is a young,
self-taught, animator. He is seeking a B.F.A. in graphic design and
digital media at UNF. When not studying, Corey is often at work
experimenting with various techniques of 3-D animation and photography.
He has lead team Sweaty South to critical acclaim in both the 2007 and
2008 Jacksonville 48 Hour Film Project. Corey engages himself in all
aspects of cinematography, including editing and camera work. He would
love to be involved in the film making industry as a professional one
day.

Kathryn Gillcrist
Kathryn Gillcrist is a
student at University of North Florida working towards a major in
Marketing. This is her second year as a member of team Sweaty South of
the 48 Hour Film Project. Understanding the time consuming nature of
animation, Kat manages the team for consistency and keeps everyone on
task. She also plays a substantial roll in the writing process. Kathryn
hopes to link the knowledge gained from working with team Sweaty South
and her studies in business to the Art Industry.

Caleb Mahoney
Caleb Mahoney is currently a student at FCCJ. He
spent two years at SCAD with a focus on sculpture. As well as an
animator, Caleb is also a musician, songwriter, drummer, and
guitarist. He lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Caleb
participated in the 2007 and 2008 Jacksonville 48 Hour Film Project,
where he worked on animation, voice acting, and music. Caleb plans
to create an animated series for a Television Network in the future.
